Job Title - Scientist, Bioconjugation, Large Molecule Discovery
Location - South San Francisco, CA 94080
Duration - 12+ Months (Extendable)
Responsibilities:
Client's Large Molecule Discovery team is looking for a Contractor-bioconjugation to support our growing biologics portfolio.
The Contract Scientist, Bioconjugation will be responsible for bioconjugation activities to produce novel antibody conjugates (ADCs) within the Large Molecule Discovery- Bioconjugation group. The scientist will work cross-functionally as part of internal multi-disciplinary teams, as well as working with external partners and CROs. The scientist will be expected to participate in experimental design and planning, conduct experiments, maintain detailed records, and communicate results. • Hands-on experience in the discovery and development of ADCs or bioconjugates are preferred. • Work independently to prepare and optimize bioconjugates with basic lysine, cysteine, and other types of conjugation chemistry. • Working knowledge in relevant ADC analytical techniques including UV-Vis, HIC, SEC, RP-HPLC, and LC-MS are preferred. • Experience in bench scale purification using AKTA system is desired. • Clearly documenting experiments and results in electronic lab notebook entries.
Qualifications:
A BS or MS with 1-3+ years relevant work experience. Level commensurate with education and experience.
