Position Overview:
NPower is seeking a highly skilled Operations Instructor to support the restoration of operations at Crane Clean Energy Center (formerly Three Mile Island). This role requires mastery of technical and instructional skills, along with extensive knowledge in nuclear operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to Operations employees, ensuring they are equipped to meet both licensed and non-licensed requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical instruction to Operations employees, both licensed and non-licensed
Develop, implement, and evaluate plant-specific training programs tailored to Crane Clean Energy's operational needs
Analyze training requirements and design comprehensive curricula for various operational roles
Deliver engaging, clear, and effective training sessions, demonstrating expertise in nuclear operations
Ensure that training aligns with regulatory and safety standards
Continuously assess and improve training materials based on feedback and plant-specific changes
Qualifications:
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for nuclear training programs
5+ years experience in Operations or Operations training
Extensive experience in nuclear plant operations, both licensed and non-licensed
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deliver technical training programs
Strong analytical skills and subject matter expertise in nuclear operations
Experience in evaluating training effectiveness and adapting programs accordingly
Excellent communication and presentation skills
