A 2.5b AUM global alternative asset manager located in Greenwich, CT is looking to hire a Compliance Associate to their growing team. This is a key role for the business as it will report directly to the GC/CCO and be responsible for closely assisting with the daily operations of the compliance program.
Responsibilities:
Managing the firm's Code of Ethics program
Drafting and implementing policies and procedures
Coordinating the firm's annual compliance review
Assisting with the preparation of regulatory filings
Partnering with other departments at the firm to ensure continual improvement of compliance monitoring systems, processes and oversight
Preparing training material
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
3-6 years of experience in a compliance role within the investment management industry
Experience ideally at a hedge fund or other type of Registered Investment Adviser
Extensive knowledge of SEC regulations; NFA and CFTC knowledge highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
