Job Description:

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Engineering Program Manager to join our client's team in San Francisco. Our client is a leading technology firm that delivers cutting-edge products for businesses and organizations of all sizes. This is a 9-month contract (extendable) role offering the opportunity to drive large-scale new product introduction (NPI) programs for the Hardware Program Management Organization. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and allowing 2 days remote.

Responsibilities of the Engineering Program Manager:
  • Drive large-scale new product introduction (NPI) programs for the Hardware Program Management Organization.
  • Own, build, organize, and manage project plans for key initiatives.
  • Develop resilient working relationships and support cross-functional teams.
  • Build and track overall program prototype allocations, budgets, and purchase orders.
  • Adhere to metrics and governance for Meraki's process and drive process improvements.
  • Track various endeavors for research and development on new components, NPIs, and Sustaining.
  • Lead JDM or CM proto build plans ensuring allocations are correct and correlate to build quantity.
  • Mentor and provide opportunities for newer team members.

Qualifications of the Engineering Program Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of program management experience in software, hardware, embedded, networking, or cloud technologies or products.
  • 2-4+ years of NPI experience in software, hardware, embedded, networking, or cloud technologies/products (REQUIRED).
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and executives.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools (Excel, Gantt charts, Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint).
  • Project management professional certification or equivalent (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
