Technical Skills:
- Intermediate experience with Word and Excel
- Must know how to schedule meetings in Outlook
- Strong organizational skills are essential, particularly for candidates who may have previously had assistants or coordinators managing tasks for them
Work Environment:- Fast-paced and dynamic, influenced by frequent changes due to federal regulations
Responsibilities:
- Procure goods and services for the company through competitive sourcing events
- Develop acquisition plans, sourcing strategies, and conduct market research
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Analyze price proposals and financial data to determine reasonable pricing
- Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss requirements and address performance issues with suppliers
- Monitor and evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and recommend changes when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 5-10 years of procurement experience
- Experience with Ariba or other sourcing tools preferred
- Federal procurement experience is a plus
