The New Product Launch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating internal activities to meet customer expectations for new product launches. Responsibilities include facilitating the introduction of new laminate tube products, managing project timelines, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring on-time delivery. Will work with Sales and the customer to establish customer specifications that fit within the customers vision and works well within the Albea portfolio.

Scope
Primary contact and facilitator for coordinating internal activities to meet the customers' expectations for new product launches.
Secondary Contact with NPL coordinators and production on the creation/modification of packaging for tubes. Manages the new product timelines to achieve target dates and specifications. Based in Shelbyville.
Main activities • Facilitate and coordinate the introduction of laminate tube new products along with the packaging while working with internal customers (Production, Quality, Logistics, Finance, others) and external customers, including Customer Service, Sales and R&D • Assume direct responsibility for the timely coordination and completion of NPL activities including customer specification, master data development and related validations, samples, color matching, graphics development, production planning, packaging specification developments, and materials procurements to ensure the fulfillment of the NPL metrics established by leadership • Charting and tracking during the development cycles until the start of the production run. • Lead coordination with the related departments to manage the flow of information between the operation and the customer to ensure successful launch • Ensure efficiency in the documentation of information, including sample orders and SAP data. • Full accountability of on-time development of PO+ while delighting the customer with a focus of speed to market • On-time development of new products 1st delivery on time in full (OTIF) • Customer satisfaction on NPL during launch • Lead coordination between plant transfers with providing new drawings, vendor discussions, price differences, etc. • Lead packaging NSQR (Non-Standard Quotation Request) with Sales , Pricing, Vendors and other internal departments while gathering drawings, pricing request with vendors, creation of new drawings, pricing, and creating comparison of cost for pricing department • Keep area and equipment neat and organized as per a 5S environment • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures • Other duties as required
Accountability including KPIs • On time development of new products 1st delivery one time and in full • Customer Satisfaction on NPL during launch • EBB during New Product Launch • Samples OTIF and cycle time aligned with market expectations
Profile (Experience & qualifications) • Knows the concepts related to the management of a project • Working in high volume manufacturing in some capacity • Project Management Tools Skills and Competencies: • Excellent bilingual proficiency. Written and Oral. • Problem solving and mulstitasking • Detailed oriented • Dependable • High level of computer literacy
