The RFP Specialist will establish and develop favorable relationships with existing and new clients, prepare new bid responses, and consult with the sales team and other cross-functional departments as needed. Core responsibilities of this role include creating an effective proposal response process aimed at improving the win rate, coordinating with members of the sales team to ensure that bid responses are presented effectively in a timely manner, and supporting business and proposal development process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential customers and bid opportunities for the company’s products and services.
Draft and complete compelling and competitive RFP responses to solicitations for new and existing customers in public and private sectors.
Conduct a thorough review & analysis of new RFPs and documentation to identify all the requirements and scope of work.
Identify appropriate subject matter expert(s) within the company and coordinate their input to the RFP response.
Serve as the customer/company point of contact for any questions or clarification requests related to the RFP process.
Ensure RFP submission is on time, complete, detailed, accurate, and meets all formatting requirements from the client.
Develop and maintain internal templates and other resources for use in future responses.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and other client engagements as needed
Participate in post-bid analysis to benchmark competition and identify areas for improvement in the bid process.
Experience and Qualifications:
Familiarity with EV Charging industry concepts, practices and procedures
Demonstrated working knowledge of the proposal response process and concepts within the built environment
Exceptional writing and copyediting skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content
Proficiency with Adobe is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts and firm deadlines
Proven ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization
