We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage dispatch duties and oversee a dedicated team of office staff. This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to our key customer, who has high demands and strict expectations. Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Coordination:


  • Oversee the dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and manage the transportation schedule, adjusting as necessary to meet customer demands.
  • Communicate with drivers and supervisor to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and support a team of office staff involved in logistics operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the key customer regarding logistics matters.
  • Understand customer requirements and expectations to ensure high service levels are met.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on delivery performance and team efficiency.
  • Implement strategies to enhance operational processes and exceed customer expectations.
Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role, with a focus on dispatch operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
