The thermal design analysis engineer will be responsible for development, verification, and validation of thermal models for space hardware.
The thermal analyst will be engaged within a cross-functional group to ensure model accuracy, design margins, and compliance to customer requirements.
The incumbent will require a passion for space propulsion / fluid control, launch vehicle actuation, and spacecraft control mechanisms.
The position will require the ability to understand multiple types of hardware; efforts will range from valves, thrusters, linear actuators and rotary actuators.
Responsibilities:
Development of new, and modification of existing, thermal models for space hardware
Clear verbal communicate status of efforts to program teams
Detailed documentation of thermal models and calculations
Thermal Design Analyst for space hardware with 3+ years experience.
Preferred Masters of Science degree
A highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task among several programs with competing demands
Experience with thermal analysis techniques is required
Preferred software experience with Siemens NX, Thermal Desktop, ANSYS, and MSC Sinda
