Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Senior Records Management Strategist.

Responsibilities:


  • The Senior Records Management Strategist will develop and provide Records Management strategies to propel the DoD organization and meet the DoD implementation milestones

  • Brief the DoD SES and other critical stakeholders on the progress of the Records Management strategies

  • Provide advisory guidance to the DoD Directorate regarding Records Management

  • Supplement correction items necessary to improve the DoD Records Management compliance posture

  • Direct a team of Records Management resources during the DoD Records Management implementation

  • Acts as the subject matter expert in the Records Management area

  • Analyze needs, develop alternatives and/or courses of action, and provide recommendations and way ahead

  • Monitor the progress of the DoD Information and Records Management strategic programs and prepare recurring status reports

  • The Senior Records Management Strategist will support the organization with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) tasks and assist the government in analysis of NARA requirements

  • Submit summary reports of monthly reviews of on-going project deliverables







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience with or knowledge of federal Records Management Strategy and management

  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise written artifacts related to a Records Management implementation plan

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
