We are excited to be hiring two Market Research Manager roles. One focused on voice of client tools and platforms and one focused on research insights and analysis.
Role 1. Market Research Manager (Focus: voice of client tools and platforms)
Designs, codes, implements, and continuously improves Qualtrics-enabled surveys across segments that effectively capture client feedback, surface pain points and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Supports the development and application of text and speech analytics to surface actionable insights (e.g., workplace sales call transcripts, secondary research verbatims)
Creates and maintains dashboards and reports that track customer feedback, trends, sentiment, and satisfaction metrics.
Addresses and resolves process issues, collaborating with technology/product SMEs as necessary.
Role 2. Market Research Manager (Focus: research insights and analysis)
Provides extensive analytical support on market research projects across the globe.
Analyzes large datasets for the purposes of driving actionable insights.
Coordinates primary and/or syndicated market research projects.
Understanding of market research methodologies, including kano model, conjoint analysis, max-diff analysis, etc.
Role Summary
The Market Research Manager will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, gathering and synthesizing large quantities of data, and utilizing voice of client survey tools and text analytics platforms to extract valuable insights. The role involves interpreting data, identifying trends, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication abilities are key for success in this position.
Common Responsibilities
Coordinates and helps to execute qualitative and quantitative research studies, working closely with peers and segment insight leads across the globe.
Mines and synthesizes data from primary and secondary sources (e.g., surveys, databases, public websites, social media) to identify actionable insights.
Analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Translate raw data into actionable insights and make recommendations to enhance the client experience.
Can apply statistical methods to examine and analyze data on T. Rowe Price’s clients, market dynamics, and investors at large to support business growth.
Collaborates and develops recommendations for stakeholders, and helps to develop compelling executive presentations with supporting exhibits.
Contributes to the production and development of a consolidated research and insight repository (insights engine) to enable more effective and efficient storage, retrieval, and exchange of proprietary and third-party research across the firm and help drive more informed decision-making.
Collaborates with stakeholders to establish research/analytical methodologies in support of new business development and retention of existing revenue streams.
Qualifications: Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
5+ years of total relevant work experience

Familiarity with survey and text analytics platforms such as Qualtrics, and social listening platforms such as Netbase or Brandwatch
Strong product, market, and competitor knowledge a distinct advantage.
Is highly personable and can ‘read the room’.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
Base salary ranges:
$103,500.00 - $177,000.00 for the location of: California, New York $91,000.00 - $155,500.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C $83,000.00 - $141,000.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and All other US locations
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
