Engineering Product Manager job in Sterling Heights, Michigan is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat support vehicles contributing innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver key products, integrating and testing them at the subsystem and vehicle levels.
Plan and execute engineering projects using project management principles, generating and managing project plans and schedules.
Establish funding mechanisms and forecast project demand while tracking metrics to drive project performance.
Oversee vehicle system-level design, integration, build, and testing activities.
Serve as the primary technical interface for internal and external customers, representing the project and engineering teams to leadership.
Lead programmatic events and support bid efforts for RFIs and proposals.
Manage problem reports, prioritize issues, and facilitate change processing metrics.
Propose and assess process improvements to enhance design throughput and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (other degrees considered with relevant experience).
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
Proven leadership in leading design, development, and integration of complex systems.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Business acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to assess technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
