Your Mission
As the Project Manager - DIY, you will oversee all aspects of product development and sourcing, ensuring that our product offerings are optimized for each customer. This role combines creativity with operational efficiency, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product mixes, develop new products, and lead category management efforts. You will be the key driver in ensuring seamless execution of marketing and merchandising plans, while also managing the digital footprint of our DIY products across eCommerce platforms.
What You'll Do
Product Development
Ensure all customer product mixes are optimized for the DIY market.
Lead the development of new products in line with customer needs and market trends.
Sourcing & Supply Chain Management
Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to manage sourcing and production timelines.
Oversee end-to-end procurement processes to ensure timely product delivery.
Master Data Management & Listings
Create and maintain accurate SAP material, customer, and purchasing data.
Manage listings and updates in customer portals and applications to ensure accuracy and availability.
Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to boost product visibility and sales.
Merchandising
Collaborate with the National Account Manager to develop and execute point-of-purchase (POP) merchandising strategies.
Manage 3rd-party vendors to create and implement effective POP materials.
Product Costing & Pricing
Partner with finance teams to establish competitive costing and pricing strategies.
Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings while maintaining strong margins.
Category Management
Stay informed on current market trends and competitive activity to influence product decisions.
Analyze how competitive moves impact our offerings and adjust strategies accordingly.
Product Content Management
Develop and manage a comprehensive database of product content, including images, specifications, and descriptions for all DIY products.
eCommerce Strategy
Execute tailored eCommerce strategies for each account, ensuring that product listings are optimized for online sales.
Act as the product expert, responding to consumer questions and feedback on retailer websites.
