Job Summary

The Social Science, Education, and Business division is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time adjunct instructor positions and dual enrollment instructor positions for the college's College Learning Strategies college success course, a 3-credit hour academic course required by most first-year students.

Job Duties

Teach the 10 or 7-week college success course at one of our campus locations or on a local high school campus within the RSCC service area.

Engage, instruct, and support first-year students with their established course materials, as well as provide support follow-up for the student's success coach and/or faculty advisor.

Complete required training annually provided by the college on how to facilitate the college success course.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in related educational field.
Must be able to teach in person.
Documents required: unofficial transcripts, curriculum vita or resume, cover letter, and 3 professional references.


Must be current state of Tennessee resident.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in education, psychology, sociology, or curriculum & instruction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
