The Program Analyst is responsible for directly supporting Program and Product Management teams by performing and coordinating project finance, supplier management, and several other critical tasks to ensure program success.
Responsibilities:
Technical support and liaison between Program Management, Engineering and Support Functions and the IT Team in building, maintaining and improving business management tools and systems.
Directly support Cost Account Managers and Package Managers in developing resource loaded plans, performance criteria, earned value, and variance reporting
Coordinate and manage critical data collection and control in conjunction with Data Manager
Support program life cycle management through development and maintenance of program plans and tools, as well as on-going and refresher training.
Support ISO9001, AS9100 and CMMI certification and maintenance by example and training support.
Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure team performance is optimized.
Work collaboratively across all functions to ensure successful program execution.
Ability to travel to Germany and other sites in the US and abroad as required.
Qualifications:
BSc in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Vehicle Technology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 Years' Experience in supporting US Defense programs or 2 Years' Experience in working in a large corporate environment performing similar role.
Practical 'hands on' attitude with the ability to operate independently
Some experience desired with program management tools such as Earned Value Management, DELTEK Suite of Program Management Tools, MS Project, Open Plan or other Scheduling software, SAP, Oracle or other Enterprise Resource Planning tool
Ability to gain knowledge of the US DoD process and procedures for vehicle development and procurement
Ability to gain familiarity with the US Army TACOM
Currently holds or has the ability to obtain US Defense security clearance
Ability to gain knowledge of Military Standards and Regulations is desirable
Ability to present technical / commercial / contractual solutions to internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in capture, bid contract negotiations, and planning delivery is desirable
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint at minimum, Power BI, Access and Visual Basic experience is desirable
Understanding and training in PMP, 6 Sigma, LEAN principles, Systems Engineering is desired
