Our Atlanta area Fintech client is seeking a skilled FULLSTACK Java Developer with React experience for a longterm contract opportunity. This role will be onsite 3x a week in Cumming, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with experience in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, SQL, and AWS. Front end experience must be focused on React.
Candidate must be local to the Cumming, GA area.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain front to back applications using React, Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions across the enterprise.
Implement and optimize backend services, APIs, and databases, ensuring scalability and performance.
Develop and maintain SQL queries and database schemas for efficient data management.
Utilize AWS services for application hosting, storage, and deployment.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Ability to work onsite from day 1. This role will be onsite 3x a week in Cumming, GA.
8+ years of professional Java development experience.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and building microservices.
6+ years of experience with React, developing comprehensive front ends.
Solid knowledge of SQL databases and ability to write complex queries.
Experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
