Finding opportunities to automate workflow and implementing processes and procedures
Perform server installs
Interact and communicate with Terminal Parties, Capacity Owners and Equipment Vendors, other company departments, involving exchange of detailed, technical information and coordination efforts
Summarize and log the results/findings of each activity in related trouble ticket databases reports when requested
Use various monitoring tools, scripts, and database queries to efficiently identify and understand service affecting issues
Responsibilities include surveillance, fault management and event notification of the network infrastructure
Application Monitoring to include server hardware and Operating System
Performs diagnostic investigation into complex customer-impacting network issues to resolve and identify root causes.
Provide technical leadership, guidance and advice to other engineers who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing and operating the network.
Monitoring and troubleshooting of business customer specific nodes such as MLB, BCH, Airport sites, Core network connections for Movius, SASE
Working experience with wireless technologies such as GSM, UMTS, or LTE Radio Access networks as well as IP networks, value added services, messaging platforms, and other system elements. Experience of working with CISCO for creating and handling RMAs/Cases.
Document and track incidents, resolutions, system changes, and workflow/playbooks.
Provide technical support to end-users, engaging with stakeholders effectively.
Work with vendors, service providers, and global teams to optimize network infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and participate in incident response.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support and SLA response times.
Contribute to improving and automating common issues, monitoring, and maintaining positive team relationships, including remote collaboration.
Experience of working with Datacenter teams to perform the physical troubleshooting of devices.
Good knowledge on Event management and ITIL standards.
