Production Underwriter -Commercial Insurance Small Business, Greater Tampa Bay, FL
FinTrust Connect has partnered with a leading regional financial services company currently in search of a dynamic and driven professional to join the team as a P&C Production Package or BOP Underwriter focusing on Commercial Small Business. This role presents an exciting opportunity to excel in underwriting Property & Casualty products for small businesses within the company's division. The successful candidate will collaborate with key wholesale customers, contributing to a diverse risk portfolio, while enhancing underwriting expertise and expanding industry knowledge.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in property/casualty underwriting.
5-7 years of experience in P&C Production Package or BOP Underwriting.
Preferred insurance designations such as CPCU or ARM.
Comprehensive understanding of underwriting concepts.
Strong negotiation, marketing, and problem-solving skills.
Description:
Manage production within assigned underwriting territories.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Achieve retention and rate goals for renewal business.
Execute individual and business unit performance objectives.
Cultivate broker relationships through exceptional customer service.
Utilize "Underwriter Best Practices" to prioritize objectives.
Handle complex files and portfolios within underwriting authority.
