Henderson Fab Inc. - Located in Loganville, GA is seeking an energetic and motivated individual for an Estimator position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for estimates from conception - Pulling estimate numbers, preparing bid packages, utilizing file share services to receive and upload blueprints, specifications, and any other bid documents.
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other documents provided by client to accurately prepare and estimate potential projects.
Prepare estimate take offs of all shop labor, materials, buyout items, engineering, and other costs utilizing Strumis, Bluebeam, and other software for new and estimate prices on change orders on existing projects.
Collaborate with internal team members and others outside the company (such as GC, Owner, other trades, etc.) to ensure the job is estimated in best manor for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Relay estimate criteria to customers, project management, and our detailers as required.
Perform Estimate Kick off meetings and provide estimate breakdowns, summaries, and turnover forms upon award of project.
Maintain and follow up on statuses of bid projects - reporting results back to the team utilizing excel log.
Print and distribute documents as needed
Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings, blueprints, and specifications in Strumis (as required).
Foster team environment by supporting other departments as needed.
