Job Description:

We have partnered with one of our top clients in the higher education space on their need for a Training Specialist. If you're someone that believes in the positive impact of continuing education and helping others plan to reach their educational and career goals, this might be the role for you!

This individual will work within the University's Learning and Development team and partners with the Enrollment/Admissions support teams. The focus of this person will be to train teams on advanced prospect engagement techniques to drive revenue and create value.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various prospecting models, including consultative approaches, and demonstrate expertise in pipeline management.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm EST

Pay: $29.40/hr to start - Room for growth

Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days in-office/2 days remote in the Miramar FL office

Day in the Life -
  • Analyze enrollment team performance data and call recordings to identify skill gaps and training needs
  • Develop and refine training programs based on these insights, ensuring alignment with white-glove service standards
  • Measure the impact of training initiatives on key enrollment metrics and adjust facilitation methods accordingly
  • Deliver training using a variety of instructional techniques and formats (e.g., workshops, role-playing, simulations) to engage different learning styles and ensure effective knowledge transfer
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of pipeline management to teach teams how to leverage data to track and manage student progress, optimizing each stage for better outcomes
  • Provide product knowledge training that empowers staff to communicate value propositions effectively, enhancing their ability to guide prospective students
  • Focus training strategy on nuanced relationship building and consultative approaches
  • Design engaging, high-impact training materials that focus on consultative enrollment strategies and relationship-building techniques
  • Working with the T&D team, review and inform on content that supports the development of key skills like effective communication, needs assessment, and guiding prospective students through the decision-making process
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance & Insights team to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training solutions

Keys to Success -
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or related experience
  • 4 years of presentation experience in both a soft skills and hard skills capacity, 6 months curriculum development, technical/system document writing and/or development. Required
  • Advanced understanding of sales training models
  • Proven experience in training sales teams, with a focus on consultative sales models
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design; teaching and instruction for individuals and groups; and the measurement of training effects
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance specifically related to Adult Learning Theory
  • Knowledge of individual differences in ability, personality, and interests as well as learning and motivation
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools and the ability to teach the value of data accuracy and effective notetaking
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategic training plans and adapt content to meet evolving business needs
