A global leader in the design and manufacturing of systems and components for drug and vaccine manufacturing is looking for a Engineer Drafter. In this role, you are responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs). You will also assist with the design and material sourcing for new parts in support for these designs.

This is a full time, direct hire position
Salary: $62,400 - 82,000/year (DOE)
Job Responsibilities:
Assist engineers, architects and designers by converting rough sketches and concept designs into detailed technical drawings
Create detailed drawings, diagrams and documentation using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software like AutoCAD
Consult with engineers and product designers to understand design specifications and product requirements
Research and collect specifications and dimensions to incorporate into drawings
Review drawings for accuracy, clarity and conformance to engineering and manufacturing standards
Communicate with team members and clients to resolve issues, answer questions and ensure design intent is achieved
Maintain knowledge of latest design and engineering trends, techniques and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks or Inventor
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when producing technical drawings
Ability to interpret rough sketches, technical specifications and engineering instructions
Understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles, materials and processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field preferred
1-3 years of relevant experience as an Engineering Drafter
