Job Description:

A large Manufacturer in Neenah, WI is seeking a Milling Machine Line Operator.


Pay: $20/hr - $23/hr


1st Shift 5 AM - 3 PM.


Job Duties


? Perform line operations required to produce products on our flooring line.


? Knowledge in working with woodworking machines and plastics processing.


? Knowledge about machining tools, their geometry and their application.


? Basic knowledge in working with computers to 1) set up proper programs that machines will run and 2) use software to perform material and shop floor related transaction.


? Simple knowledge in working with axis systems.


? Mechanical aptitude and if possible, basic electrical knowledge and its application to the machine.


? Working with mm, m, cm (European lengths) would be an advantage.


? Experience with troubleshooting on processing machines.


? Oversee and help create an efficient production schedule that creates quality parts and maximizes the line output, use of all raw materials used in production and ensure the accuracy of material type, weight and location for materials pulled and returned.


? Participate in development of production plans and follow up to ensure that schedules are met.


? Read technical drawings, reports and work instructions.


? Assure compliance with quality standards. Measure components and assemblies as needed.


? Consult with Quality Control Manager regarding accept or reject decisions on components and final assemblies.


? Contribute to and ensure implementation of continuous improvement and cost down activities.


? Maintain a safe and clean work environment.


? Ensure continuation of operation in absence of other employees.
