Job Description:

We're currently seeking a Project Engineer Coordinator in the Pasadena, CA area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our dynamic team and support various construction projects.



Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, interpret, and understand the scope of work for each project, assisting the team with final deliverables to clients.


• Prepare material submittals and track the approval process.


• Support ongoing construction management for local projects, including reviewing contractors' change orders, addressing requests for information (RFIs), conducting schedule reviews, and coordinating project correspondence with team members.


• Conduct job-site visits with project team members, which may include project owners, brokers, contractors, architects, suppliers, and inspectors.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are completed within defined timeframes and deadlines.


• Solicit and gather quotes from contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors (e.g., labor, materials, equipment).


• Communicate with clients regarding potential and active project requirements, including deadlines, approaches, and expectations.


• Maintain regular communication with clients about ongoing projects and deliverables.


• Keep an organized "To-Do List" for outstanding tasks, developing a time schedule and priority list for completion.


• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge:

• 
  Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a construction-related field or 2 years of related upper-division college coursework.


• 
  Software: Proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.


• Ability to read plans and specifications.


• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


• Reliable transportation to job sites and the office.
