The West Central Research & Outreach Center is looking for an experienced individual to oversee the horticulture program at the WCROC.
Job Duties include:
participating with supervisors in the strategic planning of the program
initiating and collaborating on research projects
leading day-to-day operations
managing budgets and overseeing staff.
Required Qualifications:
MS/MA in horticulture or a related field
at least one years experience in the field
an understanding of common horticulture practices and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Horticulture
experience with leadership in program management
experience in grant development
effective communication skills
experience in training and supervision
