ProRecruiters is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Oversees the technical aspects of developing, establishing, testing and improving manufacturing systems and methods including automation and improvement of material handling/processing equipment, tooling, fixtures, jigs and testing equipment
Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for the purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards
Confer with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential
Ensure equipment maintenance tasks and schedules meet the manufacturer's recommendations
Analyze labor cost and plan workflow, staffing, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency
Assess capacity and required resources to meet customer demand
Identify and analyze process and design improvements to reduce cost and lead time
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all government laws and regulations
Conducts training and assessments as directed
Create 3D CAD design through the commissioning of tooling and fixtures
Position Requirements:
Maintain working knowledge of company products and services
Ability to interchange and work cooperatively with others in the department
Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment
Regular attendance with the ability to work on-site
