We are a 20+ year old concrete repair company looking for a part-time bookkeeper (20 hours/week estimated). This is a hybrid position where once or twice per week attendance at the Golden, CO office is desired.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accounts Payable • Setup new Vendors in QuickBooks • Vendor invoices received and input to bill.com • Credit card charges entered in QuickBooks via electronic download • Make Payments through QuickBooks and Bill.com
Job Costing • Enter project budgets in QuickBooks
Payroll • Review time sheets with Job tracking in QuickBooks • Review, approve, and file Payroll Tax Reports
General Ledger • Prepare and enter Journal Entries • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts • Complete month-end close checklist
Financial Statements • Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows with schedules • Review of balance sheet reconciliations • Present financial statements and analysis to CEO • Prepare key indicator charts • Reconcile loans • Manage draw/repay line of credit
Budgeting • Prepare the annual operating budget with cash flow • Prepare Annual capital budget
Misc. • CO UI and FAMLI+ reporting • Wage withholding tax submissions • Weekly cash flow sheet
Required Experience/Skills • Background in accounting • Current experience and recent training with QuickBooks online, specifically accounting and bookkeeping • Reconcile balance sheets and accounts • Tax filing, reporting, and compliance • Daily financial reporting • Collections •• Negotiation Skills
