The HR Coordinator is a strong team member of the Human Resource Department/Team. This position provides the best possible administrative and technical assistance in support of the human resource functions, and the best possible administrative support to the HR, management, and employees, in accordance with company policies and procedures with a sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the HR Generalist in full lifecycle recruiting efforts. Identify and maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting resources, place job postings both internal and external, screen and interview candidates, set up interviews for the hiring team, administer profile testing, pre-employment testing, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork and entry into the HRIS system, and maintain applicant tracking system.
Provide regular recruiting updates and efforts to VP of HR and HR Generalist.
Develop and maintain a candidate pipeline through networking and sourcing.
Identify and participate in Job Fairs.
Providing the best customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsible for answering calls, replying to emails and greeting/assisting individuals at the front door and lobby.
Maintain and enter necessary HRIS data.
Prepare daily attendance reports and track attendance points, reporting updates to the HR Generalist.
Act as the technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to the human resources function.
Organize and maintain the departmental office supplies, ordering as needed.
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Keeping personnel files up to date, compliant, and complete appropriate filing.
Assist in ensuring compliance with department policies, procedures and applicable laws, rules, regulations.
Assist in preparing employee appreciation functions and recognitions.
Maintain and update the ECS (Electronic Communication System).
Assist in special projects from VP of HR and HR Generalist.
Build strong successful working relationships with all levels of management and employees.
Participate in weekly HR Department meetings.
Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or a related field experience required.
Experience working in a non-union manufacturing environment a plus.
Experience using an HRIS and ATS systems.
Specific Knowledge, Licenses, Certificates, etc.:
SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-CSP certification a plus but not required.
Competent in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented with ability to be self-directed.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
