So, what (Exactly) is a Sample Coordinator?

The sample coordinator helps to ensure that customer fabric presentations are the best they can be. They track samples though the system and plan for swatches to be created.  They respond to Sales and Design customer sample requests, ensuring that samples are sent out on time, checking that all samples are first quality and are labeled correctly. Continuous updating of sample roll and swatch inventory, as well as organization of showroom samples and working with the team on trade shows (biannual).

What You'll Do:

• Maintain and update hanging sample and sample roll inventory.


• Maintain Excel documents concerned with sample shipments and sample inventory.


• Work with Sales and Design on fulfilment of Customer sample requests.


• Prepare samples for presentations of fabrics to customers.


• Track samples through production and follow up on any delays with Design and Sales.


• Organize shipments of samples to Sales and Customers


• Maintain production inspection headers/archive library.


• Prepare fabrics for trade shows (biannual).


• Maintain a high level of housekeeping, which is essential to the efficient and beautiful presentation of high-quality knit fabrics.


• Seek continuous improvements allowing Beverly Knits to continue to be a market leader so that future jobs are secure.


• Be enthusiastic about creating exceptional samples for presentations to our customers and be a positive, motivated team member.

What is required of you:

• Ability to create Excel and Word files.


• Learn programs to print sample labels and shipping documents.


• Detail oriented.


• Physical ability to move 30 lbs. (approx.) rolls of fabric.


• Ability to operate surging machine to finish raw edges of samples.


• Finish samples with labels, headers, and hangers.


• Learn to recognize fabric defects.


• Ability to read and write in English.


• Must comply with all safety, quality, and work instructions.


• Some limited driving will be required between local plants.
