ARS/Rescue Rooter is part of a national leader providing plumbing, HVAC and electrical products and services to our residential and commercial customers. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls within a busy office


• Set and schedule technician appointments for jobs


• Enter customer data into the computer


• Respond in a timely fashion to customer queries


• Resolve and assist customers by taking incoming calls and making outbound calls regarding appointment scheduling for maintenance agreements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education


• One or more years of experience as a dispatcher


• Availability to work full time (8 hours a day), between Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 8:00 pm


• Rotating weekends, every other weekend - Saturday 7:00 to 7:00 pm, and Sunday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment


• A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by radio and tracking devices


• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments


• Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills


• Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word


• Knowledge of the local geographic territory
