Immediate duties include, but are not limited to:
Procurement of requested materials and supplies to support internal project teams and office staff.
Oversee the procurement process by:
Tracking the status of purchased goods to destination and reporting delays;
Gathering delivery tickets and reconciling quantities and items received matches quantities and items ordered;
Contacting vendors when needed to check on the status of goods ordered or obtain proof of delivery; and
Maintaining accurate and concise tracking of all open purchase orders and communicating status with project and accounting team.
Conduct activities in line with internal policies and procedures to comply with GAAP Accounting principles, and fraud prevention policies.
Provide timely and proper documentation to the accounting team to streamline the invoicing to customers and payments to vendors.
Minimum Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training
Requires a high school diploma as a minimum. Associates degree or higher preferred.
Two (2) or more years of experience with purchasing/procurement and associated administrative tasks.
Prior experience in I&E Construction, Oil and Gas and Engineering preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams).
Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations, and field personnel.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects.
Work Conditions :
Position will primarily work in a typical office environment, with occasional trips to our shop location to check packages in and other administrative tasks.
Subject to time pressures and constraints.
