Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer, flatbed, or box truck).
Transport goods and materials from distribution centers to customer locations or project sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate delivery records and log required hours in accordance with DOT regulations.
Communicate with dispatch and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
Adhere to company and industry safety standards and protocols.
Load and unload goods (if applicable) using proper equipment or by hand.
Assist with routine maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.
Follow assigned routes and meet delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
2+ years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
