Job Description:
Distribution Associate
Location: FL-Miami, 11980 SW 128th Street
This position will work in office 5 days a week.
The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in Miami or Miami Lakes.
The Distribution Associate is responsible for preparing items for shipment, processing incoming stock, and restocking packing supplies. It is an expectation of the role to travel to the worksite and other locations, as necessary.
How you will make a difference:
- Picks product, packages shipments per product specific protocols, prepares shipping labels, etc.
- Processes incoming stock and quantities received against the packing slip and purchase order.
- Restocks packing supplies.
- Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
- Deliveries will be required on an as needed basis.
Minimum requirements:
- Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
Preferred skills, qualifications and experiences:
- At least 3 months of related experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, and strong oral and written communication skills are strongly preferred.
- Experience with a pallet jack may be preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook is strongly preferred.
