About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Risk Specialist within the Consumer Credit Card Risk CRO Organization. Role requires a business manager mindset, combining strategic thinking with practical execution to manage risk and drive business results. Furthermore, demonstrate the ability to coordinate and manage cross-functional initiatives, drive organizational efficiency, and support executive decision-making.
In this role, you will:
Perform Quantitative analytics using programming tools (SQL, SAS, Tableau and/or Python) to analyze data from a variety of sources to develop portfolio and account management strategies.
Review and analyze complex strategies, programs, and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture.
Produce and review monthly, quarterly, and annual strategy performance reports for senior management.
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or Economics.
2+ years of strong programing skills in Python/SAS/SQL with hands on experience handling large datasets.
Effective Storytelling: Capability to transform raw data into visually engaging stories in PowerPoint that highlights objective, methodology and recommendations.
Knowledge and understanding of databases and data mining techniques.
Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
Proactive with results driven attitude, and strong problem-solving skills.
Well organized, attention to detail.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $73,100.00 - $143,000.00 Benefits
