YOUR ROLE


Lead a team of Solution Design engineers to support the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities, renewals of current customer contracts, and re-engineering operations for current customers.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Lead the team of engineers to support proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities to support CEVA Business Growth and Retention objectives

• Hire/train/upskill Solution Design engineers

• Continuous improvement of all engineering processes within the Solution Design team

• Work with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals and/or renewals on a timely basis

• Lead the team of Solution Design engineers to support other operational improvements as requested

• Incorporate green initiatives into Ceva proposals when appropriate and in conjunction with employee support of local communities

• Collaborate with Solution Design and local Operations & Facilities teams to define facility layouts & racking elevations changes.

• Implement CEVA standards related to LEAN, Continuous Improvement, Tier Boards, and KPIs.

• Partner with the Operations team to propose process optimization projects improve efficiency, safety, & quality, ensure successful execution of projects

• Observe operations and ensure work instructions are adhered to and reflective of the actual process.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field of study

• Minimum 3 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions

• 3PL or like experience preferred.

• E-commerce and Omni channel fulfilment experience.

• Six Sigma and LEAN certifications a plus.

Skills:

• Experience in engineering Distribution Centers

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Data Analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge of WMS functionality.

• Experience in warehouse automation applications

Characteristics:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills demonstrated a history of developing relationships and building trust, and an ability to work independently & in a team environment.

• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
