Litigation Paralegal Opportunity - Insurance Defense in Tampa, FL


Beacon Hill Legal is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for an insurance defense law firm located in Tampa, FL. This is a fully in-office role that offers a fantastic opportunity for a paralegal with a solid background in insurance defense litigation.



Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with case management throughout the litigation process


• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and conduct legal research
  


• 
  Summarize medical records, bills, and depositions


• Retain experts and coordinate expert reports
  


• Organize and maintain case files (physical and electronic)


• Prepare for trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions
  


• Manage case calendars, ensuring timely filing and deadlines


• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications:

• 
  3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, specializing in insurance defense
  


• Proficient in e-filing (state and federal courts)


• Strong legal research, organizational, and communication skills


• 
  Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
