Summary

The Communications Specialist reports to the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications at the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business. The Communications Specialist creates compelling written and editorial content to promote the school on its digital channels, in marketing materials, on digital signage and in print. The Communications Specialist regularly writes and makes updates to the school's social media channels, compiles, and creates internal newsletter content and assists with graphics as needed. The Communications Specialist will serve as the communications liaison for Freeman's academic areas, the Experiential Business Learning Center, institutes, and internal and external constituents while contributing to the institution's growth and impact through strategic communication planning, project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in English, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.* 3 years demonstrated relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency in preparing reports and presentations.* Recent marketing and communications experience in an institution of higher education or a non-profit organization similar to higher education.
