Job Description:

Job Summary: The Junior Staff Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to develop their accounting skills and grow within a dynamic organization.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.

  • Maintain and update financial records and databases.

  • Perform account reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies.

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

  • Process invoices, payments, and payroll entries as needed.

  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.

  • Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and schedules.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).

  • 2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Good organizational and time management abilities.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
