WHAT YOU'LL DO


We are currently searching for an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager with innovative thinking and an ownership attitude. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager knows our customers deeply and is responsible for the successful in-market launch, adoption and retention for the products within our Health Professions and Cybersecurity portfolios. The responsibilities include B2B demand generation, creating impactful marketing communications, new product launches, and collaborating with our sales team to continually demonstrate the impact our solutions have on the success of students and educators in our markets. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will oversee the development of marketing campaigns and strategies for assigned organizational products or product lines.


WHERE YOU’LL WORK


This position will work hybrid from our Burlington, MA office. Remote candidates in the United States will be considered.


HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME




  • Effective Go to Market Plans: Develop and execute go-to-market plans that create awareness, attract and engage the target audience and create demand for specific products and solutions in collaboration with product, enablement and sales teams. Establish KPIs, reporting and analysis for marketing campaigns and product launches.


  • Customer-Centric Messaging: Be the voice of the customer by developing product positioning and competitively differentiated messaging based on customer insights, market research and product knowledge. Create in partnership with the creative team supporting materials and documentation including website content, datasheets, product brochures. Define target audiences and segmentation


  • External Partnerships to Drive Demand: Develop and manage external partnerships to reach and engage target audiences, increase brand awareness and drive demand.  


  • Communication of Market Needs: Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and customers and evangelize that information to key stakeholders. Understand and document customer journeys and persona, needs and pain points to be leveraged by marketing, product and sales partners. Partner with Demand Generation, Creative and Content Marketing to produce customer stories, testimonials, webinars and thought leadership content. 


 


WHAT YOU'LL NEED



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.  

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B category. 

  • Experience in educational content or education technology will be considered a strong plus. 

  • Experience with Pragmatic Marketing approach a plus 

  • Excellent people and influencing skills to interact with marketing colleagues, cross-functional teams and external partners. Passionate about understanding customer needs and behaviors and translating them into actionable insights.



  • Superior project management skills and ability to prioritize. Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, messaging and segmentation 



  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences across sales, marketing and product management organizations.  



  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills. Understands the difference between features/functionality and value. 

  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment without sacrificing attention to detail. Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market and organizational dynamics.  

  • Experience managing project specific or initiative timelines and resources. Understanding of marketing automation, lead generation, and emerging marketing technologies.
