Nature & Purpose of Position:
The student employee will provide direct professional assistance to office staff and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics chair. This includes being the first point of contact for all visitors to the office. The student employee will have frequent contact with students, and they will respect FERPA guidelines. The student employee should be organized, punctual, pays attention to detail, understands confidentiality, and self-motivated.
Job Duties, but not limited to:
- Greeting each guest and directing them accordingly
- Answering phone at front desk, filing, and running errands on campus
- Maintain work room and breakroom with needed supplies
- Distribute mail
- Assist in monitoring and restocking needs of office supplies and break room supplies
- Process copy jobs
- Other duties as assigned
Other Requirements for the Position:
It is important that this position is filled with someone that can work during the summer and days the university is open whether classes are in session or not. Position is to be filled immediately. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
