This on-site role is located in the heart of Lake Country, Oconomowoc, and will relocate to our new location in Brookfield in 2025.
What You'll Do:
Act as a technical liaison between Silgan's manufacturing teams and our customers by delivering expert advice and technical solutions for packaging.
Investigate, address, and resolve customer concerns, to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
Oversee customer packaging initiatives, deliver technical education, and conduct testing to meet project and quality requirements.
Contribute to new product development initiatives, cost-saving strategies, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure quality standards by coordinating product evaluations and testing at customer sites.
Assess materials and review performance specifications, container applications, and materials substitutions related to customer container use.
What We Need You to Have:
A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Packaging, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
Strong listening, verbal, and written skills to engage and build customer relationships.
Willingness to Travel domestically up to 25% annually.
