Ruppert Landscape is a family and employee-owned commercial construction and management company headquartered in Montgomery County, MD with operations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Delaware and Tennessee. We currently have an opening for a Shop Manager position in our Apex, NC location.
Responsibilities:
• Manage/complete quality and timely vehicle and equipment repairs
• Manage/complete quality and timely Winter and Summer Recon
• Manage fleet washing and waxing as directed by fleet company policy
• Schedule and coordinate with the branch, all vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance
• Conduct A.M. inspections as directed by the regional fleet manager
• Assist in the management of Pad Maintenance
• Assist in the management of equipment and vehicle inventories as directed by the regional fleet manager
• Appropriately monitor and communicate vehicle and equipment misuse and abuse
• Assist in the training of proper use and maintenance for vehicles and equipment
• Issue purchase orders at the point of purchase for all materials and services
• Manage shop expenses in accordance with the budget
• Process all invoices in a timely manner
• Maintain administrative duties. These duties include but are not limited to updates to the recon tracker, the shop expense tracker, quarterly mileage reports, and shop bulletin board
• Maintain properly stocked parts rooms
• Ensure fuel system is operational (where applicable)
• Ensure the shop is clean and organized
• Assume additional duties as directed by the regional fleet manager
