Association of Washington Cities (AWC) is recruiting a full-time Facilities and Office Specialist to join our dynamic and customer orientated team. This position is responsible for performing or overseeing building and grounds maintenance and improvements, fleet maintenance, office and safety procedures, and office and administrative tasks, to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

The salary range for this position is $51,594 to $80,074. The top candidate's placement within the range will reflect education, training, and experience consistent with AWC policies.
This position works full-time, Monday - Friday in the AWC office in Olympia.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate the planning, maintenance, and repair of organizational facilities and facility related systems such as: building, grounds, parking, HVAC, janitorial, repairs, purchases, security, and safety
Provide internal customer service to staff; coordinate office moves, requested repairs, and purchases; resolve safety concerns
Oversee and schedule work of contractors and service providers such as janitorial, repair personnel, movers, office equipment vendors
Coordinate the organization's vehicle fleet program of six vehicles that includes, but is not limited to, the acquisition, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposition of vehicles
Monitor contracts relating to the building, grounds, and vehicle fleet

What you bring to the team
Three years' experience with building maintenance
Two years' experience in an administrative position
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or technical degree preferred
Proficient in operating and troubleshooting office equipment, including working with equipment vendors, suppliers, and service technicians
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements, including annual and mileage-based schedules
