Location: Boulder, CO

Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Modeling Engineer II



Overall Responsibilities:


You'll develop methods to assess and improve data quality, impacting the accuracy and user experience of this innovative search feature. This role requires a strong background in data science, NLP, and a passion for data integrity in AI.



Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:



• Analyze the impact of data quality on the performance of AI Overviews, identifying areas where improvements in data can lead to better user experience.

• Create and implement data quality metrics to identify potential issues and track improvements in the data over time.

• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to refine the processes for collecting, cleaning, and processing training data, enhancing the models' ability to understand user queries and extract relevant information from webpages.



Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:



Education: Bachelors in computer science, Engineering, or related field

• Experience 3-5 experience in Data Science or related field

• Strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.

• Experience with natural language processing and information retrieval techniques.

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Be comfortable working with large datasets, building and evaluating models, and have some experience with relevant tools and technologies (Python, NLP libraries, etc.).

• Passion for improving user search experience through AI.
