Overview:

Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Senior Software Development Project Manager to support a Federal Client. This is a key role position for a Web Portal that will provide data analytic capabilities to stakeholders nationwide. This remote position requires a professional with at least 10 years of experience in large-scale IT project management, particularly within the public sector.

*This position is associated with a Federal Contract and requires U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder to be considered.*




What Youll do:
  • Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead the comprehensive planning and implementation of a Web Portal project.
  • Oversee all project aspects, budgeting, team hiring, supplier sourcing, and release planning, while employing Agile methodologies as a Scrum Master to ensure responsive and iterative development.
  • Collaboration with the federal PM/COR is essential for securing approvals on deliverables, updates, and risk management strategies.


Required knowledge and skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for navigating the complexities of the project.
  • Proven client management and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of various project management and business tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and other software that facilitate collaborations and tracking progress.
  • Knowledge of Data analytics, DevSecOps, Web technologies, and cloud services.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • PMP and Agile Certifications required.


Abilities

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects and effectively coordinating efforts across diverse teams while focusing on delivering high-quality results.


Nice to haves

  • A background in government contracts, familiarity with compliance regulations, and project management certifications.


Salary Range:
  • Salary range is $140,000-165,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
