Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a highly successful public tech company located just outside Boston is in search of a Senior Accountant. The company offers strong work security, future career advancement and a competitive compensation plan. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in office.

As a Senior Accountant you will accumulate financial information for external reporting and management reporting decisions. You will also be involved with the financial close, assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC Filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.) and have the opportunity to recommend continuous improvement ideas.

Responsibilities:

• Senior Accountant will assist with preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including footnotes, MD&A and XBRL requirements


• Assist with preparing full set of financial statements and schedules for earnings call


• Research technical accounting issues, including accounting standards and document conclusions


• As a Senior Accountant, you will support external and internal auditors for schedule requests and internal control testing


• Assist with the annual goodwill impairment analysis


• Other management projects and ad hoc reporting, as needed


• Quarterly US

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting


• 3+ years of related experience (including public accounting)


• Critical thinking skills; Can research and analyze data drawn from multiple sources to identify problems and make effective recommendations


• Excellent organization and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail


• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and with all levels of management throughout the organization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
