Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. The WFC, the 4th most highly attended arena nationally and 7th most attended in the world is home to 270+ events per year, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and events. Comcast Spectacor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast and maintains connected and disconnected networks within the Wells Fargo Center.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Human Resources team for Comcast Spectacor. This person supports the team with operational processes and reporting that help drive the business. These tasks include data gathering and reporting, creating presentations, submitting Workday transactions, acting a liaison to the centralized HR Shared Services team.
Acts as a liaison between HR Business Partners, Business Units, and the Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COE).

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  • Provides support to HR Business Partners in the areas of data & analysis, compensation, performance management, talent management, and other aspects of the employee journey.


  • Partners with HR Business Partners to execute cyclical employee activities such as compensation planning, performance calibrations, talent calibrations, and employee sentiment survey analysis

  • Assists in pulling and analyzing data and reporting as part of HR-related projects and business objectives.

  • Collaborates with HRBPs, and HR COE partners on the design, development, implementation, and execution of specific programs/initiatives to support the development of strategic skills/talent/roles for the business.

  • Own and manage the department calendar, ensuring all deadlines, meetings, and key milestones are scheduled and that the team stays on track with project timelines and deliverables.

  • Supports the HR team with project planning and execution of HR-related programs.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with HR team and COE partners.

  • Gains a strong understanding of Workday capabilities as it relates to the employee data and execution of related task.

  • Develops Executive/VP-facing presentations.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • 2-5 years of progressive HR experience

  • Knowledge in aspects of HR (compensation, employee engagement, talent management, talent acquisition, performance management, etc)

  • Proven organizational and project management skills

  • Aptitude for data, proficient in data analysis and utilizing it to influence decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborate across different groups

  • Experience creating presentations for stakeholders

  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel (vlookups, Pivot Tables, If Statements) and Power Point skills

  • Workday experience preferred
