Workday Reporting Lead II
Introduction to team
Over here at Expedia Group's People Technology Team, we're not just typing away at our keyboards. We're crafting, developing, and managing top-notch systems that our people rely on throughout their adventures with us. As a Workday Reporting Lead, you will assess the business requirements and Workday's capabilities to create reports and dashboards within multiple Workday workstreams including Recruiting, HCM, Talent, Learning, Payroll, Benefits and Compensation. You will play a key role in the development, administration and improvement of HR reporting processes, data governance and data quality initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Manage the maintenance, design, development, testing, and deployment of standard, custom, composite and matrix Workday reports and dashboards in alignment with program objectives and data security framework using calculated fields, and other analytics capabilities.
Creates plan for standardizing and organizing Workday reports and provides ongoing support to customers looking for custom reporting requests
Serve as a Workday Reporting expert who can provide deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, and future data solution direction. BIRT Report knowledge will be an added advantage.
Proactively researching new Workday reporting & analytics features and functionality and determining how best to meet user needs. Provide subject matter expertise and implement Workday best practices.
Works closely with stakeholders to assess reporting requirements.
Document requirements, development, UAT and final deployment in a SOX compliance environment.
Perform reporting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Partnering with other members of the People Technology team to develop creative solutions for delivering data and insights to leaders, employees, and HR professionals.

Troubleshooting user issues
Experience and qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in Workday Reporting, dashboards, and creating calculated fields with strong knowledge of Workday Security.
Strong project management skills, time management skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask competing priorities
Ability to deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong client relationship skills. Ability to partner with People team to identify reporting needs, address gaps
Strong analytical skills
Ability to learn quickly and work within tight deadlines; self-starter; must take personal initiative and willingly assume responsibility and ownership.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail; Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Experienced in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other business tools.
Ability to work in a high demand/rapidly changing environment and manage ambiguous situations and/or directives.

Discretion while dealing with highly sensitive data.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $112,000.00 to $156,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
