Job Summary The Senior Financial Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of regulatory reports. This includes, but is not limited to, the coordination of data requests with upstream data providers, preparation and review of aggregated reporting data and execution of quality control procedures. They will also be responsible for working with data providers or regulatory reporting staff to resolve identified data or reporting issues. This individual is instrumental in improving the accuracy of regulatory reporting information in addition to the identification and implementation of process improvements to improve over all regulatory reporting efficiency.
Pay range: $84,878.04 - $112,463,40 - $140,048.77

Job Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate data and support requests from upstream business owners or regulatory reporting counterparts.
Execute or confirm appropriate processing of reporting inputs within the designated reporting software.
Routinely complete required business process controls (e.g. variance analysis, reconciliations, review checklists etc) when preparing periodic reporting.
Document identified data gap or assumptions and work with upstream business owners and supervisors to developed proposed remediation plans.
Investigate and resolve system generated quality and validation checks and perform required follow-up to resolve.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies, and strengthen controls within the regulatory reporting function.
Stay current with industry requirements, regulatory changes, and trends related to regulatory reporting and data quality, and integrate this knowledge into the quality control processes.

Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Technology, or related.
Minimum experience required: 5+ Years in financial analysis, regulatory reporting, or related roles -OR- 3 years in financial analysis, regulatory reporting, related experience WITH a Masters Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Technology, or related.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant and/or Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) Regulatory Reporting experience preferred.
Job Competencies:
Knowledge of financial regulatory reporting guidelines (FFIEC, FDIC, OCC, and FRB).
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and standards, preferably in the financial services industry.
Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
Adaptable to new technologies and tools relevant to regulatory reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing regulatory environments.
