RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Analyst in Miami, FL.

Summary:
The New Build Project Analyst manages the risk footprint, monitors activity across the programs to provide a rolled-up program view. They then enable the program manager to do what they do best, managing the execution and focus on the challenge follow up. In addition to this responsibility, they also support the Program Director and the Project managers in scheduling and management of meetings and preparation for those.

Key Tasks:


  • Product Analyst will organize and manage the IT New Build project team meeting calendar

  • Runs New Build meetings, takes meeting minutes and communicates the outcome to the attendees

  • Follows up on open issues and facilitates the closure

  • Manages the travel schedule for all IT NB resources to/from the shipyard(s)

  • Responsible for the requisition creation and management of the timely approval process for both requisitions and purchase orders

  • Works with New Build team on labor capacity planning to ensure programs demands are reflected in the sourcing requirements submitted to the IT PMO for allocation and coordinates meetings with IT shipboard product teams to confirm allocation of resources

  • As a Product Analyst, you will work with the Director or Program managers to manage the local contracts, manages the engagement with the port agents and the Hotel Start Up team to ensure accommodations for onsite resources

  • Development of presentations to the project specific Steering Committee and manage the collaboration with the project managers

  • Supports integration of various tools to reduce analyst duplication of efforts

  • Work with the New Build PMO team to manage staff onboarding, off boarding, on-site events and orientation activities

  • Support the Project Management team in various project activities







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training

  • 5+ years of experience required

  • 3+ years of experience in an information technology environment

  • 3+ years of Project Analyst experience

  • 3+ years of advanced knowledge/experience with Excel

  • Strong leadership skills; Proven experience in engaging with people and managing travel

  • Experience in being part of large-scale IT Focused programs and projects

  • Must have demonstrated experience in administration of project activities

  • Basic knowledge in project management practice

  • Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills while being able to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and WebEx is required

  • Strong ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet project goals

  • Ability to work on your own, with limited supervision

  • Must be willing to travel (up to 20% of the time)

  • Workfront and JIRA knowledge a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
