The Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases has an exciting opportunity for a Dr. Driver. The Sr. Driver provides secure and dependable transportation services for assigned department(s). Furthermore, the Sr. Driver ensures that vehicle operation activities comply at all times with established safe driving methods and standards, University policies and procedures, and external rules and regulations.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
Reports any criminal or suspicious activities. Informs appropriate staff regarding hazardous road conditions and any traffic citations, violations, or incidents. Conducts visual and physical inspection of the assigned vehicle before, during, and after operation. Refuels and cleans the interior of the vehicle. Reports and addresses any maintenance problems or vehicle service needs. Maintains contact with and follows all instructions and directions from managing staff. Follows all established routes and takes detours only when absolutely necessary. Keeps accurate time schedules and other necessary records. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid CDL license
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
